In collaboration with Tilonia Bazaar, an artisan enterprise rooted in celebrating Indian rural craft and sustainability, this collection honors traditional craftsmanship and the skilled hands behind it. Connected to the Barefoot College in Tilonia, India, the project focuses on empowering rural women artisans and preserving heritage techniques.

Working directly with Tilonia's women artisans, I developed an apparel line using luxurious Indian mul fabric, embellished through the timeless art of hand block printing and appliqué embroidery. The collaboration brought together Bagru hand block artists, masters of this ancient technique, to translate traditional patterns onto contemporary garments.

The collection showcases intricate appliqué work paired with the distinctive beauty of Bagru block printing, creating wearable art that bridges traditional Indian craft with modern design sensibilities. This partnership celebrates the remarkable skill of rural artisans while building their business capacity and bringing their craft to a global audience.
